While looking at the pages of Marie Claire, which is supposed to be a fashion magazine, I am like...seriously??? HOW is this practical? How is this wearable? Like do people actually wear this stuff? I mean What the even HECKIE did my eyes just see? So It got me thinking of some of the absolute RICIDULOUS fashion trends that I have been seeing. I mean WHY do people come up with this?! Is this what the world has come to?
The highlight
Now I am ALL for some highlight. I love it. BUT, sometimes I like to go with the idea that less is More. I mean do you need to send out some crazy lighting code to your uncle Juan Pablo from the alien spaceship? Because trust me...they can see you! Don't even start me on this glitter trend. I feel almost like they are bringing back the days of the 90's when we grabbed a giant body puff filled with glitter all over your body . A little glitter on your lids or even slightly on those highlight zones I'm all for...but ladies...easy on the glitter and the highlight! SHEESH we get it!
The insane brow trends.
Seriously OK I get it your brows are super awesome and sexy even. I mean did you know that it is a known fact that the EYEBROWS is the first thing that people notice when they meet you. It's a total subconscious thing but its true. It is framing your whole face. Making a statement with them is one thing, but when have we gone too far? Is it the squiggle? the barbwire, the braiding, the extensions? Where do we actually draw the line?
Hairy nails?
I am just going to leave that right here. NOPE...I cant! WHY??????????? Like just WHY? I have so many questions!!! Can someone with hair nails please tell me...Do you get poo in your nail hair when you wipe? Does it take on smells? How do you not get hair in your food? I have more....but lets just stop there.
Body Hair gone awry
I cannot even understand. I know it all started with the arm pits and people actually dying them. I mean it was a whole movement. I could NEVER but ok to each his own right? Then I started seeing people getting with NOSE HAIR extensions?! What the even heckie is going on right now? Is this real life? How on earth do I even begin to explain this. I thought I've seen it ALL. Then I go ahead on to the Marie Claire website...I about dropped dead! They call them MERKINS. They are VAGINA WIGS!!!! WHAT?!?!?!? I can't even believe my eyes at this point!!! They literally were on the runway just 4 days ago!!!!
I mean this is getting insane people!!! These trends are killing me!!! When will this end? Is it fashion? Is it attention seeking? Are these trends actually wearable? What do you think?
