Brush Cleaning

How often do you clean these things? I mean they are gross right? We use them to put loads of makeup on then put it back??? Doesn't that seem odd to you?

It is! Seriously so much bacteria is left on your brushes after just one use. But does that mean you need to deep clean after every use? No.

I like to use my brush cleaner. Sorry guys my company released them one day only. Before we came out with it, I was using a citrus brush cleaner from sephora that I loved. So a quick clean after every use is definitely amazing. It will kill some of the bacteria and allow you a nice true color application.

As for a deep clean? I would say once a week. I simply grab my Lush shampoo bar, I swish it around the bar and rinse well. Then I dry on a paper towel over night.

There are other methods currently but I haven't tried them yet. I just don't et how putting it in a machine and letting it swish around for a little while is going to clean it. I am a skeptic...perhaps one day I will try it and let you know...for now...old school methods it is.
