Is Scott Peterson really Guilty?

Laci Peterson went missing on December 24, 2002 in Modesto California. She was 7 1/2 months pregnant with her husband Scott Peterson's child, Connor. The Modesto Police department zero in on Scott pretty quickly. After a 2 year investigation, and a six month Capital Murder Trial, Scott was convicted of murdering his wife and unborn child. He was sentenced to death.
I will go on record as saying that I am not sure Scott did it. I am leaning on the side of innocent. He is up for appeal right now and I am hoping that actual justice get served. Right now, I do not believe it has been served correctly. I will explain why.
Here is the timeline:
December 23rd
Scott and Laci were at her sister, Amy Rocha to get hair cuts in a salon she worked at. They invited her to get pizza and watch football with them, but she declined because she already had plans. Amy said that Scott had mentioned going golfing the next morning and had offered to pick up a gift basket for their papa at a store called Vella Farms. Lacy was wearing tan pants and a black blouse with small flowers.
According to Scott, they left the salon, got pizza at a place called Mountain Mike's pizza watched Monday night football, she spoke to her mother on the phone about their Christmas eve plans, then the rookie and went to bed around 1030pm. The pants and the blouse that Laci was wearing were in the hamper and identified by Amy, Scott said she wore his blue pajama pants to bed...also in the hamper.
December 24th
Scott thinks that Laci woke up around 7am and ate some cereal because she always ate as soon as she got up to avoid morning sickness. He got up around 8 or 830 and had some cereal while she ate a piece of toast with him.
at around 840 am Scott took a shower and computer analysis shows that Laci was logged onto the computer. Email was checked, and some shopping sites, one for a red scarf and one for an umbrella stand with sunflowers on it. Laci loved Sunflowers.
They then spoke about the plans for the day before Scott left. She planned to go to the store to get supplies for her gingerbread and for the french toast she was making for Christmas morning. the recipe for the french toast was on the fridge. while they were talking and eating together they had on the today show and then Martha Stewart, which was one of Laci's favorites, Scott remembered seeing something about meringue and cookies, which was proven to be true. He then filled up a mop bucket for Laci as per her request and he loaded some umbrellas into his truck and left for the office. There was evidence of the umbrellas and timeline because he called out to say hello to a neighbor while loading the umbrellas.
Scott said he left for his office around 10, checked his voicemail on his phone, went in through the pedestrian door in his office and checked his emails. This was proven as he checked his voicemail at 10:08 and was continuously logged in to the work computer checking and sending emails plus looking up instructions on how to assemble a wood working tool he had just received until
10:56...again all proven fact.
There was about a 20 minute gap between then and when he left his office. Scott says he was cleaning up the office, and began assembling the tool. He then opened the roll up door to the warehouse and unloaded some tools from the tool box and cut his knuckle on the tool box and opened the driers side door of his truck to get a napkin. This was supported by the built tool he had just received and looked up, as well as the small drop of his blood on his truck door. Side note...if you look at his warehouse, there was no room to pull his truck in and close the door...so he would have had to do any criminal activity in broad daylight.
Scott then decided that it was too cold to golf so he instead decided to head to the Berkley marina to try out his new fishing oat. He packed up the truck, hooked up the boat, and pulled it out of the warehouse. He closed the warehouse door from the inside and left the pedestrian door through the office.
He left his office around 11:18 to drive to the marina, thought it probably took him about an hour and a half. This was proven by a quick search on yahoo maps. It was one hour and 36 minutes. He purchased a boat launch ticket at 12:54pm. This receipt was surrendered to the police once asked if he had any proof of his whereabouts.
Scott then described going out probably around 2 miles to a little island that had a bunch of trash on it with a big sign that said no landing. There were some broken piers. He thought it would be a decent shallow area . He had forgotten the new lures he bought from Big 5 in his truck, so he used some fresh water jigs from his tackle box. He then headed back because he was getting wet. Turns out that according to Scott's description of the place, it was Brooks Island and it was shallow as he had suspected. The new lures were in his Big 5 bag unopened as he said, and the pole with tags and the fresh water jig was also as he said it would e. He then spoke to a couple of guys at the marina who were laughing from Scott trying to back his trailer down the ramp to load the boat. This too was confirmed. Scott thought he was there maybe 9 minutes, phone records show he left in about 78 minutes. This was all confirmed.
He left the marina and called Laci at home and on her cell. He also called his friend Greg and his parents on the way home and said he was stuck in some traffic. messages on Laci's voicemail do confirm this.
Scott then pulled over for some gas at the chevron, and it was proven to be at 325 based on bank records.. At 352 there was another call to Laci's cell but no message. It is a 48 minute drive from the chevron to his warehouse as per yahoo maps placing him back at the warehouse at around 3:13 pm.
When Scott got back in the office he unhooked the boat and said he spent no more than 5 minutes in his office before leaving. He remembered a fax about an incoming shipment because he was disappointed about the timing. He then headed home.
He thinks he arrived home sometime between 4:30 and 4:45. He entered throughout the side gate where he found McKenzie, their dog, with his leash on. Scott removes the leash and puts it on the patio table. He went inside and the dog and cats entered the house. He emptied the mop bucket so the cats couldn't drink out of it, and poured the water out near the front walkway. He got the mail while outside and noticed Laci's car in the driveway...except Laci was not home. He just assumed that Sharon, Laci's mom, had picked her up to prep for Christmas eve dinner.
His clothes were wet so he undressed and put them in the washer f. He had to remove the dirty cleaning rags from the washer where the housekeeper left them the day before, added soap, and started the washer. He said this was routine as he usually got home and had chemicals on his clothes from work. They had no garage, so there was nowhere to put chemical soiled clothing.
He then took the pizza box out of the refrigerator, poured a glass of milk, then headed to the shower with the pizza in hand. Officers Letsinger and Evers testified to to the pizza box being on the counter when they arrived at the home.
Scott then showered, dressed, and listened to the messages. He then called Ron, Laci's step father due to a message that was left of the phone asking them to pick up whipped cream. He thought Laci was with them, so why would they need to pick up whipped cream? He asked Sharon if Laci was there when she picked up and she said no. So he said, she is missing, her car is in the driveway, shes not here. She asked about the dog, Scott then remembered the leash. This is when the search began . Scott began by knocking on neighbors doors, calling neighbors and friends, and going to the park with McKenzie. Sharon told Scott she and Ron would call the hospitals. The police were called by Ron at 5:47 to report her missing.
Ok so now that his timeline is out of the way and it is all proven. You can see the court transcripts and evidence here.
Now as you see in the timeline, Scott was proven to be OUT of the house by 10:08 to 10:30. So any Laci sighting AFTER this time would prove that he was NOT the last one to have seen her.
Within one week after Laci's disappearance, at least twelve neighborhood witnesses reported seeing Laci the morning of December 24th. By December 31, only 3 of them were contacted by the Modesto Police Department by phone, none were contacted in person. .
During his testimony, detective Craig Grogan stated "Laci sightings were not a priority". WHAT?!?!?!
The leads kept pouring in through January of 2003...all of them were neighborhood sightings, most of them say walking the dog, and a few with some Very concerning details.
One tip came from a hospital employee who described two men yelling at Laci. This woman did get a call back. Another from a former sheriff describing a pregnant woman being shoved back into a van less than a half mile from their home. He called a repeated number of times, and was never called back. Yet another tip came from Lt. Aponte, who worked in a California prison, reported hearing a phone conversation where an inmate claimed that Laci had confronted burglars who were robbing the house directly across the street from hers...in fact...that house was robbed the day she went missing!!!! There was never any follow up on this tip!!!
Grogan's testimony implied that following up on the sightings would be an impossible task. Take a look at exhibit 267-3. The blue dot is their home, red dots are sightings in the neighborhood.

Oh I see Mr. Grogan...31 within a 3 mile radius is too many to look into to possibly save a missing, pregnant, and possibly abducted woman. What the even NIPPLE!!! His excuses varied and honestly, are implausible. Lets be real here The sightings were all around the time that Scott had already left the house. The clothes were the same as the ones that Scott remember her last being seen in, the Black pants and white top. They can't be serious here. There was even their mailman who can prove the time that Laci and McKenzie were not at home because he scanned the mail and the gate was open and the dog was not barking. This was AFTER Scott had left the house and was in his warehouse. And lets not forget that around 10:38 am the dog was heard barking aggressively by the neighbors. Also this is by the same area and time that the guy saw the pregnant woman being pushed into the back of a van. Could it be that the dog was calling for help when found and put back in the side yard by the neighbor? Maybe the dog was trying to find help because she witnessed everything. Geez if dogs could talk!!! So I totally get it Mr. Grogan...there is no need to follow up on that.
The burglary
Many witnesses report the van being a nuisance in the neighborhood that day. The home owners had just left around 10 in the morning on a trip and the van was there in the neighborhood waiting patiently. when they left they robbed the house. Witnesses had even heard the yelling between them and Laci as well as seeing "a pregnant woman being pushed into a van wearing black stretch pants and a white top". When the cops investigated the robbery, the suspects admitted to this robbery but claimed to have nothing to do with Laci and claimed the robbery was on the 26th, not the 24th!. Ok So lets just report to the media that we are exonerating these robbers because they said it was on the 26th..not the 24th. Clearly they are innocent. So lets just be clear, while the whole media frenzy and search parties and police roaming, you decide this is the perfect opportunity to steal from the house directly across the street? The news vans were all there reporting outside. This is an impossibility, yet that is how the Modesto Police reported it and that is what they are sticking to. So technically, had they followed up on the sightings, and the robbery on hand...just a few days later, they could have possibly saved a LIVING Laci and Connor!!!!
Now is that Lt. with the overheard conversation seeming to fit in right now? Because it should. Are they kidding me?!?! How did you nowt follow up on that. Then two weeks before the trial there was a hand written letter from someone named "Mr. R" stating "I heard Laci confronted Steven Todd during the burglary, and he responded angrily and she was kidnapped"". The fact is Laci could have been SAVED! But Modesto police had tunnel vision with Scot and victimized him further...even used something completely irrelevant to convict him. It is disgusting.
So lets address the elephant in the room. I don't give much wight to this but many do...and this is the problem with the justice system and the media today. Amber Frye.
Yes Scott was having an affair with Amber. He lied...a lot!!!! He was covering this up. He wanted no cameras on him as to not draw the attention to his affair, thus halting the search for his wife and pointing the finger at him...Geez the man must have a crystal ball because this is EXACTLY what happened.
She came out with the affair when her friend brought it to their attention. The affair started about a month before Laci's disappearance, this was not Scott's first affair. She was completely smitten with him and thought they were meant to be. He was super charming, and honestly a bad liar in my opinion but i guess it was good enough to fool her.
Scott apparently came clean to his wife soon after that affair started. Not sure if it was of his own will or not but she knew. I know that he told Amber that he "lost his wife, this will be the first holiday I spend without hr. er". Bad choice of timing Scott...but could it be that while she assumed based on his wording and his emotion that maybe when she found out she said she was leaving him, but then afterwards worked it out and she was too embarrassed to tell her friends or family? Could it be that maybe Scott "lost her" because she was leaving him. Way to jump the gun amber. He "NEVER used dead or missing...just that he lost her. On the recordings that Amber decided to do for the Modesto police, he even says...there is more than one way to lose someone Amber. Um Yeah. Maybe there is...it is a possibility. They say that they were talking while at the vigil. That he was claiming to be in Paris or something like that. Yes...he is a liar...covering his butt...trying to not let this whole thing blow over...the man was way over his head with the disappearance of his wife and the son...then trying to be sure they are still looking for her and not bringing up his affair making the whole thing come to a halt.
The moral of this story without going into every single detail and making this a 263222155879995422355888965 page blog...the murder couldn't have been Scott. There is so much more I want to say about his supposed attempt to flee, the rental cars and so much more. Lets not forget the state of the bodies. She was missing all her organs and was said to have a cut on her uterus...the only organ still left. She was decapitated and missing her limbs. But the bay had much less damage and was FULL term....hello she was 7.5 months pregnant when she went missing. Babies are in there for 10 months....her body was more decomposed than his. They washed up on the shore months later after a sonar and dives couldn't find the baby in the same exact spot? Oh and this is after the cops had publicized Scott's whereabouts...oh and the baby was most likely alive when born....um...this contradicts the whole dam case. he had a twine wrapped around his neck 1.5 times and brought to a bow over his left shoulder and his ear had a piece of tape that was adhered to him. this was brushed off as debris....debris doesn't tie into a bow...and certainly doesn't stick to a wet ear...and explain why he was not as decomposed as her please?!?!
perhaps they kidnapped her cut her up took the baby out which could be how she died then the baby died a little later when they were clearly mistreating him...then they waited for the cops to quit searching the bay because she wasn't there...then placed them their because um duh lets frame Scott and put a bow around the case for these stupid cops who believed that we had done the robbery in front of everyone days later. just like the bow we placed on the baby boy.
This man should not be on death row...he needs a new trial...this is NOT right. There is ZERO evidence. No physical evidence anywhere at all besides some of her hair in his pliers...hello girls hair sheds...especially when pregnant. And she Did know about the boat...she was there the day before with him at his warehouse and witnesses put them their together...the neighbor even let her use his bathroom while Scott was working.
if you want more details please do some research...there is a a&E documentary on it that came out called the murder of Laci Peterson. also check out scottpetersonappeal.org and documents and court transcripts that i linked above. Also click here for Connor's autopsy report. It truly is baffling.
